We redesigned the HMI and developed the first MEP Saws Design System.
MEP Group represents one of the main references in the world market for the production of metal saws. The group is active in 65 countries and has commissioned us to redesign the HMI of its machines.
The aim of the project was the innovation of the HMIs of MEP based on the user experience and usability guidelines in the industrial context.
We designed a new HMI and created the first MEP Design System, useful for extending the new UX to all digital touchpoints.
In this phase we applied the guidelines of the Design System using the UI components made by Enhancers.
The entire UX experience was then created through the use of the Design System’s components, together with the visual elements of style, necessary to represent MEP brand experience.
At the end of this activity, we created a Figma prototype, as a reference and documentation for the client’s team in charge of the software development of the new User Experience and User Interface of the HMI.
